About us
Joinery With Purpose
I came to custom joinery and furniture making through my own interior projects—trying to find pieces that worked for our own spaces and not finding what I needed. Working with skilled makers as a client taught me what good craft looks like, and over time, collaboration turned into curiosity about doing that myself.
I've been a designer-maker for decades, just in a different industry working with different materials. Transitioning to physical craft—timber, joinery, three-dimensional form—brought a fresh perspective to interior projects. I invested years learning the technical skills while applying that design sensibility to the work.
What I Do Now
That combination shapes how I work today. I focus on built-in joinery and architectural cabinetry, occasionally taking on standalone furniture projects for friends and existing clients.
The same questions that drove my own interior projects drive what I make now: Is it genuinely functional? Will it last? Can it adapt to changing needs? Does it improve the space? It turns out there are plenty of people asking the same questions and not finding answers in what's readily available.
I'm based in Brunswick, Victoria, working directly with clients and their architects to create custom joinery that's stunning, thoughtfully designed, and made to last.
